Amiantit and Saudi Industrial Services Company “SISCO” jointly announced this Tuesday the signing of a significant contract involving their portfolio investment, “Tawzea,” in the water sector. Tawzea, in which Amiantit holds a 50% stake, has entered into an agreement with the National Water Company for the operation and maintenance of the water network and its associated components in the holy capital.
As detailed in a statement on Tadawul, the contract’s value is SAR 199.5 million, exclusive of VAT, and is set to extend over a period of 60 months. The company anticipates the financial impact to materialize during the fourth quarter of 2023.
Additionally, the announcement highlighted the successful conclusion of an operation and maintenance contract for wastewater treatment plants in the cities of Dammam and Khobar. This separate contract, valued at SAR 35 million, spans a duration of 18 months.
