SWCC showcases initiatives, solutions to sustain and enhance water resources in KSA on sidelines of COP28

The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) has showcased its initiatives and solutions to sustain and enhance water resources efficiently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the UN Framework Convention on climate change with the participation of elite experts and speakers.
During the dialogue session entitled Challenges and Opportunities in Water Sustainability Sector, Deputy Governor for Institutional Transformation in SWCC Eng. Mamdouh Alshuaibi gave a comprehensive presentation of the SWCC efforts to reduce the carbon footprint and reach carbon neutrality in 2045 by adopting the best environmentally friendly practices including renewable energy technology and innovative projects to reduce carbon emissions by 37 million tons in 2025.
The corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with Schneider Electric Company to enhance mutual developmental cooperation.
