Saudi Kayan appoints Eng. Sameeh Al-Sahafi as CEO

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company, based on the recommendation of the remuneration and nominations committee, is pleased to announce that its BOD has decided to appoint Eng. Sameeh bin Suliman Al-Sahafi as company CEO as of 01 January 2024.

According to the company announcement on Tadawul, Eng. Sameeh Suliman Al-Sahafi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from King Abdulaziz University. Moreover, he has experience of more than twenty-one years. He has a distinguished leadership and professional career and diverse experience in several sectors, such as engineering, project management, maintenance and operations in refineries and petrochemicals plants.

He held many leadership positions in SABIC companies, Including Ibn Rushd and Yansab companies, and the most recent was the president of the Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (Yanpet).
