Saudi Commerce Minister, Thai Deputy Prime Minister Inaugurate ‘Thailand Mega Fair 2023’

Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and Kingdom of Thailand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Parnpree Bahiddha inaugurated “Thailand Mega Fair 2023” today in Riyadh.

The event was attended by Thai Minister of Labor Phipat Ratchakitprakarn and Thai Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Darm Boontham.

Dr. Al-Qasabi, accompanied by the deputy prime minister, toured the exhibition, which aims to highlight Thailand’s renewed presence in the Middle East by showcasing distinctive and innovative Thai products and services in various industries and sectors.

The Saudi minister stressed that participating in the official opening of the Thailand Mega Fair 2023 represents a significant step towards economic diversification and trade cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Thailand.

He added that the fair reflects strong relations and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly nations, expressing aspiration to continue joint efforts to promote and facilitate trade and investment, providing opportunities for the business sector.

This comes at a time when bilateral relations are experiencing significant development, particularly in economic aspects, the minister noted.
