Monsha’at Organizes Tour for Entrepreneurship Sector ‎Representatives in Finland

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) organized a tour to Helsinki, Finland, for representatives of entrepreneurship. Nine emerging Saudi companies across various technologies participated in the tour, with a focus on attending the renowned Slush International gathering, an annual global event highlighting entrepreneurship and technical innovation.

Monsha’at aimed to acquaint Saudi entrepreneurs with the latest global technologies in developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem and leveraging this knowledge to enhance their product quality and establish a global network with innovators and suppliers worldwide. The participation of Monsha’at underscores its commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and fostering regional innovation.

Spanning four days, the tour comprised visits to several universities and companies dedicated to promoting innovation and economic growth in the region. Additionally, the delegation explored specialized centers focusing on entrepreneurs, startups, and technical innovation, such as Business Finland and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Aalto University in Finland. These visits facilitated the exchange of experiences and knowledge with experts in diverse fields.

This tour represents one of many international initiatives by Monsha’at aimed at showcasing Saudi companies. These initiatives offer entrepreneurs opportunities to engage in such events, expanding their business networks through interactions with investors and entrepreneurs globally. Notably, Monsha’at previously participated in events like the COMEUP World Expo in Korea, the Switch Expo and Week of Innovation and Technology in Singapore, and the Web Summit in Lisbon.
