Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, said that the Kingdom is ready to export 150 gigawatts of electricity, whether it is green electricity or even hydrogen.
The Minister of Energy added during the 11th Saudi Conference on Smart Grids 2023 that the Kingdom will reach the range of 100 to 130 gigabytes by 2030, pointing out that 20 gigabytes are being added to the network on a regular basis.
He continued: “In Saudi Arabia, we have decided to be a society open to the experiences of the world. We are here as we want to be, not as others want us to be.”
Earlier, the Minister of Energy said that 6 alternatives were provided as options and countries are free to choose from them, and he stressed that he agreed with the COP28 presidency regarding the final agreement of the conference.
