Fahad Al-Naeem Appointed as the CEO of SIDF Investment Company

SIDF Investment Company announced the appointment of Mr. Fahad bin Jamal Al-Naeem as the CEO of the company.

Al-Naeem has held several positions in both the public and private sectors, including serving as the Deputy Minister for Sector Investment Development. He also served as the CEO of Investment at Nusaned, an investment company affiliated with SABIC. Prior to that, he held the position of Investment Director at the Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company (Dussur). He also worked in the private equity sector at “Sanabil” Investments Company, owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Mr. Fahad Al-Naeem has also been a member of various national councils and committees, including the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), the Small and Medium Enterprises Loan Guarantee Program (Kafalah), and the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat). He was also a member of the Investment Committee at the Saudi Electronic University and Aseer Development Authority (ASDA).

Mr. Fahad Al-Naeem holds a master’s degree in MBA from Cardiff University, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has also completed several executive programs at Harvard Business School and Wharton School in the United States.

SIDF Investment Company was established in December 2022. Its goal is to increase the private sector’s contribution to investment in industrial, energy, mining, and logistics services projects. The company aims to foster a thriving environment for entrepreneurs and investors, focusing particularly on the targeted sectors to stimulate non-oil GDP expansion and to funnel investments into projects that show significant promise in furthering the economic development of Saudi Arabia.
