Hyundai Livart Furniture Company said on Tuesday that it had signed a contract for construction work that provides temporary facilities needed to build the Admiral Petrochemical Complex in Jubail, worth 66.3 billion won ($50 million), with Hyundai Engineering and Construction and Hyundai Engineering.

According to the Korean “Yonhap” agency, under the contract, Hyundai Livart plans to build infrastructure, electrical and communications facilities, such as offices and warehouses, at the construction site by October of 2024.

In June, Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Hyundai Engineering won the contract for the Admiral project.

The volume of overseas construction projects won by Hyundai Lift during the past three years, which includes the Admiral project, amounts to about 300 billion won.

Hyundai Livart had won applications for a project to expand a liquefied natural gas export base in Qatar in 2021 and a project to build a gas processing plant in the Jafurah field in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
