‎“Zara” withdraws its advertising missing limbs campaign ‎

Zara, the fashion company, withdrew an advertising campaign featuring models with missing limbs and statues wrapped in white after tweeters deemed it inspired by the war in Gaza and supportive of the Israeli occupation.

Fashion company Zara faced violent reactions over an advertising campaign that some claim mimicked images from the war between Israel and Gaza, and sparked calls from some pro-Palestinian activists to boycott fashion retailers.

The Advertising Law Regulatory Authority said that it had received 50 complaints about the company’s advertising campaign on social media, titled “The Jacket.”
