Thursday… OPEC+ meetings to start discussing oil production ‎levels

A draft agenda showed that the OPEC+ alliance, which includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies led by Russia, will begin official meetings to set oil production levels at 1300 GMT on Thursday.

According to Reuters, members of an advisory committee called the Joint Ministerial Oversight Committee will hold talks at 1300 GMT. This will be followed at 1400 GMT by a meeting of the entire OPEC+ policy-making group, according to the agenda.

The meeting was postponed from November 26. Sources in OPEC+ said that this was due to a dispute over the production levels of African producers, but sources then said that the group was close to reaching a settlement in this regard.
