Saudi Sports for All Federation Takes Part in 28th TAFISA World Congress

The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) represented the Kingdom at the 28th World Congress of the International Organization of Sports for All (TAFISA) held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 1 to 5, 2023, with the theme “Sports for All: More together than ever.” This participation underscores the SFA’s ongoing commitment to fostering regional and global partnerships, fostering collaboration between nations, and advocating for the widespread adoption of sports for all, ultimately promoting increased physical activity worldwide.

During the event, the Director of Strategic Management at the SFA, Alanoud Al-Othaimeen, contributed to a panel discussion titled “Sports for All and its Role in Enhancing the Quality of Life,” alongside various distinguished speakers and experts. The congress encompassed multiple plenary sessions, exploring diverse topics such as the potential of community sports in mitigating the climate crisis, the imperative of bolstering female participation in community sports, and the crucial role of effective urban planning in promoting a healthy lifestyle and facilitating physical activity.
