Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Space Commission Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha met Tuesday with Vice President of Middle East Affairs at the US Chamber of Commerce Steve Lutes to discuss the possibility of boosting partnership and investment opportunities in the two countries.
The meeting is part of the official engagements Al-Sawah has during the digital economy, space and innovation delegation’s visit to the US.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed investment in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, space and innovation sectors, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to support science and entrepreneurship. They also reviewed the investment initiatives that the Kingdom launched recently.
The meeting was attended by Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission Dr. Mohammed Saud Al-Tamimi and several other officials from both sides.
