Aramco inks deal worth SR329 mln with ‎‏»‏solutions by stc‏ «‏to ‎enable its digital transformation

As part of employing advanced technologies through supercomputers, Saudi Aramco, a globally integrated energy and chemicals company, has signed an agreement with »solutions by stc«, a leading company in digital transformation in Saudi Arabia, that aims to deliver and operate a supercomputer, as a part of its agreement to enable the digital transformation of Saudi Aramco over a period of five years. This agreement is valued at 329 million Saudi riyals.

The agreement was signed today, Monday, November 13, 2023, and it comes at a time when Saudi Aramco is seeking to employ advanced technologies to solve several challenges in the digital sector. This happens by leveraging the capabilities of »solutions«, a leading company in digital transformation in Saudi Arabia. This agreement supports the adaptation of modern technological solutions and improvement of operations through advanced technologies.

Through this agreement, “solutions” will further support Saudi Aramco’s digital transformation, which will happen through: (the design, implementation, operation, and management of supercomputing infrastructure, the administration, maintenance, and providing support for five years, providing data center hosting services for the supercomputer, providing private secured network facilities, and providing a state-of-the-art cyber security and access control mechanisms).
