The Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Mustafa Kamal Madbouly, received on Sunday a Saudi delegation led by Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.
The delegation included nearly 90 prominent businessmen and key figures from major Saudi national companies.
The Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the economic and trade partnership between the two sisterly countries.

Additionally, the Saudi minister held discussions with the Minister of International Cooperation, Rania Abdel Moneim Al-Mashat; the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Dr. Assem El-Gazzar; and the CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Hossam Heiba.
The meetings addressed efforts to enhance bilateral trade levels in light of the economic reforms implemented by both countries. Discussions also focused on the development of trade between the two sides with African countries, and the reinforcement of their economic integration to support regional plans for transforming the area into a global logistics hub.
During the meetings, Al-Qasabi also discussed promising opportunities in vital sectors in light of the Saudi Vision 2030.
The focus was on encouraging joint ventures, addressing obstacles, and providing facilitations for business establishments in free zones.
Additionally, the discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration in programs supporting the transition towards digitization of operations in small and medium-sized enterprises.
