Al-Othaim Investment Company announced the launch of its new brand “Nawar” in the cinema halls that the company is preparing to establish in the coming period in Saudi Arabia, after previously obtaining a license from the General Authority for Audiovisual Media to establish and operate cinema theaters in the Kingdom, where The new cinema will be among the companies participating in the “Red Sea International Film Festival” in Jeddah during the period from November 30 to December 9.

Spyros Andreas Marambos, CEO of Cinema Noir, confirmed that the launch of the “Cinema Noir” project comes in accordance with the company’s vision and integrated strategy that it has developed to advance its work in the cinema sector, as it plans to open more than 20 highly efficient cinemas within five years. Coming across the Kingdom, explaining that the new cinema will be among the sponsors of the Red Sea International Film Festival
He added: “The new cinema will be distinguished by the presence of a professional staff, consisting of individuals with the necessary experience and skills to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a satisfactory experience for the audience, in addition to high-quality audio and visual technologies that enhance the movie-watching experience, as it will provide more than 84 display screens, in addition to screenings.” Food and beverages to provide a diverse dining experience for the public
Spyros Andreas noted that there is an opportunity for the public to enjoy independent cinematic production, which provides an opportunity for local and regional directors to showcase their work, noting that events, promotions and interactive experiences will also be held periodically to enhance interaction with the audience and provide a multi-dimensional cinematic experience.
It is expected that the targeted movie theaters will provide more than (3) thousand jobs for Saudi youth of both sexes, in support and enhancement of the state’s efforts in nationalization and Saudization of jobs.”
