The Kingdom’s pavilion at The International Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha, Qatar, offers visitors an immersive experience through innovative digital displays demonstrating agricultural and environmental sustainability projects, best practices, and innovations in horticulture.
Through its exhibits, the pavilion showcases the Kingdom’s commitment to building a green future, making its Vision 2030 a reality through impactful projects and initiatives.
The pavilion presents a timeline of the four axes of the Kingdom’s development trajectory. It shows the diversity of the Kingdom’s terrain, with its valleys, mountains, and oases, an overview of the initiatives and reality of the Kingdom today, and highlights the Kingdom’s grand vision for the region’s prosperity by presenting the most prominent initiatives and projects of the Kingdom, in implementation of Vision 2030, such as the Saudi Green Initiative.
Visitors view presentations through the latest interactive screen technologies, graphic walls, and holograms highlighting the Kingdom’s strides in saltwater desalination projects, cloud seeding programs, and usage of treated water for agriculture. The pavilion also highlights the most prominent achievements that contribute to ensuring food security and abundance, the NEOM Reserve, and the Kingdom’s projects and initiatives in Riyadh.
A section is dedicated to the King Salman Park project, the largest in the region, and to initiatives and efforts to protect animals from extinction, the impact of drones on the environment, and ways to deal with sandstorms and reduce carbon emissions.
Moreover, visitors can learn about the Royal Reserves and the Red Sea project, which uses renewable energy, forest rehabilitation and forestation initiatives, meteorology, and programs to reduce loss and waste.
