Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), Eng. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Salem, inaugurated on Sunday evening the 10th edition of FABEX Saudi Arabia 2023, the Kingdom’s premier international exhibition for steel, metal industries, and machinery.
The event also featured the inauguration of the 4th edition of the international exhibition for Glass, Aluminum, Windows, Doors, and Facades at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).
Eng. Al-Salem appreciated the strong backing of the Kingdom’s leadership for the industrial sector. He also highlighted the significant turnout of exhibition visitors, underscoring the Kingdom’s appeal to international companies participating in exhibitions and conferences.
He commended the displayed local production across various sectors, which signifies the exhibition’s growth compared to previous years and its alignment with contemporary developments in the industrial sector.
Furthermore, he indicated that the Royal Commission anticipates relocating such specialized exhibitions to Jubail, Yanbu, and Jazan.
The exhibition’s general supervisor, Ahmed Mujahid, pointed out that this year’s event has evolved into a dynamic global industrial gathering.
Mujahid stated that the number of participants has tripled compared to previous editions, with over 600 exhibitors from 17 countries, including six international pavilions participating in this session.
The exhibition will run until the following Wednesday, welcoming visitors daily from 4 PM to 10 PM.
