The acting CEO of the General Roads Authority, Eng. Badr Aldulami, has inaugurated the Saudi pavilion at the World Road Exhibition held in the Czech Republic, it was reported here yesterday.
The pavilion showcases the National Strategy for Transportation and Logistics Services, which aims at solidifying the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub linking three continents. The authority presents its road sector strategy, focusing on safety, quality, and traffic density. The pavilion highlights the technologies used in road work, including 18 survey and assessment machines as well scientific simulation devices for measuring research and scientific studies. It features developed asphalt mixtures.
In its pavilion at the World Roads Exhibition, the authority also presents the most important investment opportunities in the sector, along with the infrastructure potential of the road sector.
Saudi Arabia is ranked first globally in the Road Network Connectivity index, reinforcing its position as a global logistics hub. This is due to its interconnected road network covering all vital regions, supporting economic and logistics activities.
