Cruise Saudi, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund that specializes in developing the cruise sector in the Kingdom, has announced cooperation with top-notch companies in the sector, MJM Marine and DE Wave, for the new premium owned cruise line AROYA Cruise.
This cooperation aims to provide exceptional experience and high-quality service to passengers on-board the AROYA Cruise.
According to the cooperation agreement, MJM Marine, a leading specialist in cruise ship refurbishment, will upgrade existing cabins and suites of the AROYA Cruise, provide a variety of restaurants, shopping and recreation venues, make steelwork modifications, upgrade on-board electrical and mechanical services, provide furniture, finishes, ceiling features and seating.
DE Wave Group, a global contractor for cruise ship and yacht interior outfitting, will outfit the upper deck areas of the AROYA Cruise, including new luxury suites, public facilities, and catering and hospitality facilities.
The MJM Marine and DE Wave will refurbish 98% of the passenger facilities.
CEO of Cruise Saudi, Lars Clasen said: “The creation of a premium cruise experience starts from the design phase and by working with two of the cruise sector’s most well-regarded outfitters. We’re demonstrating our commitment to making AROYA Cruises an exceptional product. We look forward to seeing the knowledge, passion and creativity that MJM Marine and DE Wave bring to the first AROYA Cruises ship.”
The AROYA Cruise, the first cruise line in Saudi Arabia, was unveiled in June 2023. With its exceptional unique design, the cruise aims to meet the expectations of the Arab markets, while fulfilling the aspirations of its passengers. That can be accomplished through innovation in designing cabins and suites and delivering quality on-board food and beverages, highlighting the authentic Arab hospitality of the Kingdom.
