Al-Hilal club settled the Brazilian Neymar da Silva deal in a deal whereby the player will receive more than 160 million euros over two seasons, thus becoming the second highest-paid player in the world behind Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the victory team player, while the French club Paris Saint-Germain will get 90 million euros.

Neymar, 31, joined the Parisian club in 2017, coming from the Spanish club Barcelona, in a record deal amounting to 222 million euros, which made him the most expensive player in history.

The market value of Neymar was one million euros in 2010 when he was playing at the time in Brazilian Santos, and then began to rise to reach 30 million euros in 2012, then jumped to 50 million euros in 2014 after his move to Barcelona.

The market value of the Brazilian player doubled in 2018 to reach 150 million euros, and then continued to rise until it reached 180 million euros, the highest number he reached, in 2019, when he was active at the time in the ranks of French Paris Saint-Germain.

The market value of Neymar began to decline, starting from 2019, until it reached 60 million euros by July 27, according to his latest assessment from the “Transfer Market.”

Neymar also became the owner of the highest cumulative transfer value ever, with more than 400 million euros, representing the sums of his transfer from Santos to Barcelona, and then the Spanish club, to Paris Saint-Germain, and from the Parisian club to Al-Hilal.

It should be noted that the Saudi League became attractive to the stars after Cristiano Ronaldo moved to victory in the last winter transfer period, before the French Karim Benzema and Ngolo Kante joined him to Al-Ittihad from Real Madrid and Chelsea, and Al-Ahly contracted with Roberto Firmino and Riyadh Mahrez.
