Wall Street opens higher amid optimism about Nvidia’s ‎earnings

Wall Street’s major indices rose at the open on Tuesday as optimism over Nvidia’s long-awaited earnings report sent the chipmaker’s stock to a record high and other major growth stocks also stayed higher.

According to Reuters, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 30.48 points, or 0.09%, to 34,494.17 points.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose 15.56 points, or 0.35%, to 4,415.33 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index also rose 96.35 points, or 0.71%, to 13,593.95 points.
