Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib: Full assessment of fire damages in one of future hospitals under construction

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group (the “Group”) announced on Sunday that a fire broke out in the hospital of Shamal Al Riyadh for Healthcare Company (a subsidiary company of the Group) (the “Project”), an under-construction Project located on Anas Ibn Malik Road in Al Riyadh city, on Thursday’s evening on 17th. August 2023.

The company added on Tadawual that the Praise be to God, and the fire was dealt with and brought under control. The Group is currently cooperating with the competent authorities to verify the technical causes of this fire. The Group is also working on a full assessment of the damages and effects resulting from this fire, noting that the Project has insurance coverage for such risks in accordance with the terms and conditions regulating this coverage.

And indicated that work on the Project will be resumed after ensuring the safety of the Project’s site and after coordination with the relevant authorities.

Any details or other material developments, including any impact of this fire on the timeframe of the Project’s operation date, will be announced at a later time in accordance with the relevant regulations.
