Enma Al Rawabi Company revealed a slight decrease in net profit after zakat and tax during the first half to 12.2 million riyals, compared to 12.3 million riyals in the same half of last year, by 1.4%. This came after today’s announcement of the preliminary financial results for the period ending in 30 June (six months).
The operating profit amounted to 12.9 million riyals in the first half, compared to 12.4 million riyals in the same half of the previous year, an increase of 4.1%.
The total shareholders’ equity “without minority rights” amounted to 536.5 million riyals in the 6-month period, compared to 524.3 million riyals in the same period last year, an increase of 2.3%.
Earnings per share in the current period reached 0.31 riyals, compared to 0.31 riyals in the same period last year.
The reason for the decrease in the net profit during this period compared to the previous period is due to: Losses of revaluation of investment funds compared to last year for the same fiscal period.
