Investment Minister: Saudi Arabia and Japan sign 26 ‎cooperation agreements

Eng. Khaled Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, revealed that 26 cooperation agreements have been signed with the Japanese side, noting that Japan is the third largest trading partner of the Kingdom.

The investment minister said that we will strengthen our partnership with Japan in the field of clean energy

For his part, Fumio Kishida, the Prime Minister of Japan, said that 110 Japanese companies operate in Saudi Arabia.

He continued, “We will cooperate with Saudi Arabia in the field of semiconductors.”

He added that my visit aims to strengthen strategic relations with Saudi Arabia

The Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, arrived in Jeddah today, Sunday, on an official visit to the Kingdom

He was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh (the accompanying minister), Secretary of Jeddah Governorate Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, and Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan Naif Al-Fahadi, the Director of Police in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Major General Saleh Al-Jabri, the Director of Royal Protocols in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Ahmed Abdullah bin Dhafer, and the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom, Fumio Iwai.
