AMAK announces start of trial operation of its Masane mine expansion project by end of Q4

Almasane Alkobra Mining Company announced the developments of the Al Masane mine expansion project (Moyeath orebody development), and the expected Cold Commissioning date of the new processing plant, for production of Copper and Zinc concentrates.

According to the statement published on Tadawul, the company informed the shareholders that the plant is in the final stages of construction and preparation works necessary to start the cold commissioning, and according to the project schedule, it is expected that the experimental tests will begin at the end of the Q4 2023.

Noting that the new processing plant was designed to process Moyeath Orebody specifically, which has a design capacity to process 400,000 tons per year.

The company expects that the initial commercial production phase will begin during Q1 2024.
