‎“Credit Suisse” CEO: Acquisition by UBS will be completed… ‎tomorrow

Credit Suisse Group CEO Ulrich Koerner indicated in a note that UBS’ takeover of its smaller rival would be completed on Monday, Bloomberg News reported Saturday.

According to Reuters, Korner said in a note to employees, “On Monday, we will witness the end of this chapter in our history, but it will also mark the beginning of a new and exciting future. Completing (the deal) legally on Monday is the next important step.”

UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti hinted on Friday that the takeover of Credit Suisse would be completed on Monday, which is the earliest expected date.
