US Treasury Secretary: US, China have a responsibility to work ‎together

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said today, Friday, that the world expects the United States and China, as the two largest economies in the world, to work together, during a summit in Paris on debt relief for poor countries and pumping financing to combat climate change.

According to Reuters, Yellen said in a summit session in which she participated with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang and other leaders, “As the two largest economies in the world, we have a responsibility to work together on global issues.”

“It’s something we can do and something the world expects of us,” she added.
