Turkish lira lost about 1 percent of its value against the dollar today, Tuesday, continuing to decline since last month’s elections and after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the formation of his new government at the weekend.
According to “Reuters”, the lira, which was under pressure amid strong demand for foreign currency, fell, recording 21.45 pounds against the US currency, bringing its losses to about 13 percent since the beginning of the year.
