Tokyo stocks end higher
Tokyo shares ended higher Wednesday following US gains as investors turned bullish on growing speculation that the Federal Reserve will skip a rate hike, AFP reported.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index jumped 1.47 percent, or 483.77 points, to end at 33,502.42, while the broader Topix index added 1.31 percent, or 29.74 points, to 2,294.53.
