Saudi-French Business Council Convenes with Participation of Over 100 Companies

The Saudi-French Business Council convened in Paris with the participation of more than 100 business people from both countries.

The Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, and France’s Minister for Foreign Trade, Olivier Becht, attended the meeting.

The Council’s meeting came on the sidelines of the Saudi-French Investment Forum held in conjunction with the visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to the French Republic.

The President of the Saudi-French Business Council, Mohamed bin Laden, confirmed that the Saudi Vision 2030 Initiative has brought about positive economic changes in the Kingdom. He acknowledged French companies’ essential roles in implementing multiple development projects throughout Saudi Arabia. Bin Laden praised the promising investment opportunities in the Saudi market for French companies.

The participants discussed the new strategy of the council and services offered to French companies. Additionally, they deliberated efforts to encourage joint Saudi-French investments by focusing on priority sectors.
