Saudi Arabia’s dates exports increased in the first quarter of 2023 to more than SR 566 million

Saudi Arabia’s exports of raw and processed dates hit more than SR566 million in the first quarter of 2023, a 2.5 % increase compared to the same period of last year, it was reported today.

 According to an official report by the National Center for Palms and Dates, the ratio of stored and fresh dates amounted to 77%, and the transformational industrialized dates accounted for 23% of the total exports.

 The dates were exported to 111 countries of worldwide, led by China, where the Saudi dates exports rate increased by 150% worth SR 7,654,212; Austria by 60% worth SR 1,996,000; Belgium by 23% worth SR1,232,592; Turkiye by 30% worth SR 22,303,831; Russia by 95% worth SR 2,697,239; and Canada by 40% worth SR3,993,901.
