CMA considers listing 66 companies in Tadawul

The Capital Market Authority revealed that it is studying the applications of 66 companies for listing on “Tadawul”, including 5 companies, to list their shares on the Saudi stock market “TASI”, noting that two companies were approved during the first quarter of the year 2023, compared to two companies that were approved in the first quarter. From the year 2022, 3 companies in the second quarter of the same year, 3 companies also in the third quarter 2022, and 7 companies in the fourth quarter 2022.

According to the quarterly report of the Capital Market Authority, the number of applications for offering in the parallel market “Nomu” or existing listings by the end of the first quarter of the year 2023 amounted to 61 companies, noting that it was approved to offer or list the shares of 6 companies during the first quarter of 2023, The total number of approved applications for listing in the financial market “Tadawul” has become 8 companies, 2 in “TASI” and 6 in “Nomu”.

According to the authority’s report, the number of offering applications in the Nomu market decreased from 62 companies in the first quarter of last year to 61 in the first quarter of 2023, while applications fell by 18 companies from their levels in the fourth quarter of 2022, which were 79 applications.
