‎“Al-Jouf” profits rose to SR20 mln during Q1, by 32%‎

Al-Jouf Agricultural Co. revealed an increase in net profit after zakat and tax in the first quarter to 20 million riyals, compared to 15.2 million riyals in the same quarter of last year, by 32%. This came after today’s announcement of the preliminary financial results for the period ending in 2023-03. 31 (three months).

The operating profit amounted to 21.4 million riyals in the first quarter, compared to 17.9 million riyals in the same quarter of the previous year, with a growth of 19.7%.

The total shareholders’ equity “without minority rights” amounted to 672.6 million riyals in the current period, compared to 642.8 million riyals in the same period last year, an increase of 4.6%.

Earnings per share in the current period reached 0.67 riyals, compared to 0.51 riyals in the same period last year.

– The reason for the increase in net profit during the current quarter of 2023 AD compared to the net profit of the similar quarter of 2022 AD is mainly due to the increase in sales and the increase in other revenues, despite the increase in selling and distribution expenses, the increase in general and administrative expenses, and the increase in Zakat expense
