Because of AI boom, American billionaire wealth doubles to ‎‎$35 bln

The wealth of the American billionaire of Taiwanese origin, Jin-Sun Huang, doubled after the boom in artificial intelligence stocks

The fortune of Sun Huang, co-founder and CEO of chipmaker NVIDIA, has jumped this year as his company has been at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution. The 60-year-old billionaire has benefited greatly from the boom in artificial intelligence. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Huang’s net worth increased by nearly $7 billion last week alone due to a surge in AI stocks, and his net worth is currently nearly $35 billion.

According to Nvidia’s 2023 annual report, Huang owns up to 86.9 million shares in the company, or about 3.5% of the company’s stake. Jensen Huang was born in Taipei in 1963 and spent part of his childhood in Taiwan and Thailand. In 1973, his parents sent him to his relatives in the United States due to the social unrest prevailing in the Southeast Asian country.

Huang went on to pursue electrical engineering at Oregon State University. He also holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the prestigious Stanford University

It should be noted that Jin-Sun Huang was born on February 17, 1963 in Taipei, Taiwan, is an American businessman and entrepreneur of Taiwanese descent. He co-founded the company Nvidia, which produces graphics processors for computers, and is the company’s president and CEO. Huang graduated from Oregon State University before moving to California, where he graduated from Stanford University.
