Mobily accepts Nabeel Al Amudi’s request to discontinue his BOD chairmanship, Abdulkarim Al Nafie replaces him

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) announced on Tuesday the approval of the Board of Directors in its meeting held on April 20, 2023, of the following changes in the composition of the Board:

1. Approving the request of H.E. Dr. Nabeel Mohamed Al Amudi to discontinue his chairmanship of the company’s Board of Directors due to personal reasons while continuing as a member of the Board of Directors (independent).

2. Approving the appointment of the company’s Board member Mr. Abdulkarim Ibrahim Al Nafie, as a Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The above resolutions are deemed effective from April 20, 2023, until the end of the current Board’s term on November 30, 2024.

The Board of Directors extend their gratitude and appreciation to H.E. Dr. Nabeel Mohamed Al Amudi for his efforts throughout his chairmanship of the Board of Directors.
