Minister of Commerce to Car Dealers: We will intensify ‎inspection and control to ensure and preserve consumer rights

Saudi Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, met today with car dealerships operating in the Kingdom, to discuss the abundance and prices of spare parts.

During his meeting with representatives of 36 car agencies, Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of an abundance of auto spare parts, and improvement of maintenance and warranty services, stressing the ministry’s intensification of inspection and control work to ensure and preserve consumer rights.

The meeting comes within a series of periodic meetings held by the Minister of Commerce with representatives of the private sector, with the aim of listing the challenges facing the development of its business and improving its services, reviewing performance indicators of product quality and consumer satisfaction, and addressing deficiencies in aspects of services related to consumer rights.
