In line with economic development, Prince Faisal bin Salman ‎inaugurates “Maaal Al-Madinah”‎

HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Region, Chairman of the Council of the Region’s Development Authority, inaugurated the new regional edition of Maaal newspaper for the region, under the name “Maaal Al-Madinah”, which is the first choice of the E-newspaper to expand over the Kingdom’s; with the aim of enhancing media coverage keeping pace with the economic development in the Kingdom generally and Madinah region particularly, in light of support and care of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may Allah protect them – in the two holy cities, the two incubators of the Two Holy Mosques.

This happened in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary of the region Eng. Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Bulaishi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almqr Company, the investment arm of the Municipality of the Region.

The launch of the new edition of the newspaper comes within the framework of the “Maaal Al-Madinah” endeavor to shed light on economic and developmental movement in the region in light of accelerating the implementation of projects and successive development achievements, in addition to providing media support for major projects in the region and enhancing its reach to the target audience by using specialized economic journalism elements.

“Maaal” as a specialized newspaper concerned with investors and decision-makers, through its new regional publication “Maaal Al-Madina”, through a team of journalists, analysts and writers, seeks to provide reliable economic information and provide accurate analysis of official institution reports, to reach high levels of knowledge support for the beneficiaries, expanding competition opportunities for new investments in the region and highlighting them in a manner consistent with strategic objectives of the government agencies, the private sector and the third sector at regional level.

For his part, Mutlaq Albaqami, Editor-in-Chief of Maaal newspaper, General Manager of Maaal International Media Company, expressed his great thanks and gratitude to His Highness, Prince of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, for His Highness’s sponsorship of the launch of the “Maaal Al Madina” publication, indicating that this sponsorship comes within the framework of His Highness’s support for all media outlets in order to play its role in providing its media message with a clear methodology that is characterized by clarification in offering and balance in conveying information; to ensure the achievement of reliability for all targeted audience, indicating that the choice of Madina as the first destination for the regional expansion of Maaal newspaper is because the region has become one of the most prominent areas in the economic movement, in light of the boom it is witnessing in its completed projects and its various investment opportunities.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Majid Muhammad Al-Shalhoub, Executive Director of Almqr Company for Developments, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Madinah Chamber Muhammad Mounir Nasser, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Knowledge Economic City Company Amin Muhammad Shaker, CEO of Rua Al Madinah, Engineer Ahmed Wasl Al-Juhani, and Deputy The CEO of Taiba Investment Company, Ayman Saeed, and the representative of the Ministry of Investment, Talal Al-Sahli.

It is noteworthy that Maaal newspaper was launched 11 years ago, and was able to achieve successes that qualified it to be a reliable source for international news agencies and international satellite channels, in light of the follow-up by international institutions and global research centers of its publications linked at the national level as well as the follow-up of decision-makers in the government and private sectors.
