ACWA Power receives commercial operation certificate for second group of Al Taweelah desalination project in UAE

ACWA Power Company announced on Tuesday that it has received from Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) the commercial operation certificate for Group 2 of Taweelah RO Desalination Company located in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, corresponding to 378,689 m3/day desalinated water production capacity.

This is in addition to Group 1, that started commercial operation on 9 June 2022 with 454,609 m3/day capacity of desalinated water, the total capacity of the Taweelah RO plant under commercial operations reaches 833,298 m3/day.
