Saudi Ministry of Finance announced the actual figures for the budget for the year 2022, with revenues amounting to 1.268 trillion riyals, and expenditures 1.16 trillion riyals, with a surplus of 103.855 billion riyals, after the previous figures indicated that the actual revenues for the year 2022 amounted to 1234 billion riyals. Expenses are 1132 billion riyals, and the surplus is 102 billion riyals.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Finance, revenues for the fourth quarter of the year 2022 amounted to 318 billion riyals, expenses 363.7 billion riyals, and a deficit of 45.7 billion riyals, and oil revenues rose to 194.2 billion riyals by the end of the fourth quarter 2022, by 17% compared to the same quarter of 2021, which was 165.5. One billion riyals, while non-oil revenues grew by 19% and amounted to 123.8 billion riyals, compared to 103.7 billion riyals in the comparative quarter of the previous year.
