Gulf General: Abdulraouf Banaja appointed as Chairman of Audit Committee

Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Company announced on Wednesday that it obtained a non-objection letter from SAMA on 21/03/2023 to appoint the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Dr. Abdulraouf Sulaiman Banaja, based on the Board’s Resolution by circulation on 23/02/2023 until the end of the current session of the Board of Directors on 04/10/2025.

Dr. Abdulraouf Sulaiman Banaja holds a PhD in economics in 1981 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the United States of America, a master’s degree in economics in 1977 from the same university, and a BA in mathematics and physics in 1970 from the University of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has more than 30 years of practical experience in the field of administrative and financial consulting in the banking and corporate sectors.
