Cenomi Retail: Audit Committee Chairman Eid Al-Shamri resigned, Ahmed Al-Sultan replaces him

Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair & Co. (Cenomi Retail) announced on Wednesday that the board of directors has approved the resignation of the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Mr. Eid Faleh Al-Shamri, as of March 14, 2023. While continuing as a member of the company’s board of directors (independent).

The Board of directors extend their appreciation to Mr. Eid Faleh Alshamri for his efforts during his membership as audit committee Chairman.

The Board of Directors has also decided to appoint the board member Mr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Sultan (independent), as Chairman of the Audit Committee, as of March 14, 2023.

This comes in the implementation of Article Fifty-One, Paragraph G of the amended Corporate Governance Regulations, which requires that a member of the audit committee not be a member of audit committees in more than five listed joint stock companies at the same time.

Mr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Sultan holds a BA in Finance since 2006 from Qassim University in Saudi Arabia; in 2010, he holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
