SAUDIA Announces Formula E’s Reigning Champion Stoffel Vandoorne as Ambassador

As the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and official Airline partner of all-electric racing series, Formula E, SAUDIA is delighted to announce ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Stoffel Vandoorne as its ambassador for the new season.

United in their mission to help fans discover Formula E and connecting them with the sport they love, Vandoorne and SAUDIA begin their collaboration as the 30-year-old Belgian driver – who finished in pole position last season – embarks on Season 9 with new team, DS Penske.

Fittingly, Vandoorne and SAUDIA both began their affiliation with Formula E in 2018, and a debut race in the UNESCO World Heritage site city of Diriyah. The all-electric racing series returns to the historical city in the Northwest of Riyadh on the 28h January 2023. Here, old meets new as the 2.495km circuit skirts around the ancient town walls.
