Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of “NEOM” said, “Within 4 years, we will reach the peak of work in “NEOM”, which requires the presence of 400,000 workers in the project at the time, compared to 50,000 currently.

According to Al Sharq, he added that “acceleration is the best adjective for describing the “NEOM” project, as construction and construction processes are accelerating at a high pace, with our transition from the design period to the implementation phase of the first phase, which is expected to be completed in 2030. ,

The investments of the first phase of the city of “NEOM”, located on the Red Sea in the Kingdom, amount to 1.2 trillion riyals ($ 327 billion), which includes government support amounting to between 200 and 300 billion riyals, in addition to the investments of the Public Investment Fund that reach to 500 billion riyals

Al-Nasr noted that “the “NEOM” project is very huge.. it requires work day and night, and for many years.” Considering that it represents “the largest investment opportunity available in the world in the field of real estate, whether for investment, development, or service and utility companies, especially the unique “The Line”.

In July 2022, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “NEOM”, announced the designs of “The Line” city within “NEOM”, where the width of the new city is only 200 meters, a length of 170 kilometers, and a height of 500 meters. meters above sea level. It will be built on an area not exceeding 34 square kilometers, to accommodate about 9 million people.

In late November, Al-Nasr revealed that the “NEOM” company intends to establish its own international airline, in addition to an environmentally friendly global airport at the end of “The Line”, allowing visitors to the future city to travel to it directly from any point in the world without stopping.
