Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, HE Khalid Al-Falih, said on Wednesday that the Kingdom would be the fastest-growing country in terms of mining in the coming years.
Al-Falih said during the dialogue sessions at the activities of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2023 that the evaluation by investors would be the highest in the Kingdom, given the low carbon emissions in Saudi Arabia, in addition to increasing the possibility of using renewable energy, including hydrogen as well.
“The mining sector in Saudi Arabia is part of our comprehensive and integrated vision. The Kingdom is a safety valve for the world in the energy field,” he added.
“We bring together the north with the south and the east with the west to formulate a better future for mining and investment in this sector”., the minister continued.
He explained that “the Kingdom lives in a world with an expected rise in demand for important minerals that will be key to electrifying the global economy. There is also an acute shortage in supply.”
