European stocks climb at open
Europe’s main stock markets rose at the start of trading Wednesday, extending a solid start to the New Year, AFP reported.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index grew 0.2 percent to 7,566.12 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index gained 0.7 percent to 14,276.60 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.8 percent to 6,673.25.
