Al-Wasail BoD approves establishing factory in Jazan for ‎SR 5 mln

The Board of Directors of Al-Wasail Industrial Company, in its meeting held today, Sunday, January 8, approved the establishment of a branch for the factory in the Industrial City (Modon) in the Jazan region under the name (Al-Wasail Industrial Company Factory, Jazan Branch) for SR 5 million in order to reduce shipping and distribution costs, increase the company’s market share, and be a tributary to cover the growing demand In those parts, in addition to the possibility of supplying the Republic of Yemen with the required products directly from there, in order to reduce the cost.

The company said in a statement today on “Tadawul” that the construction of the project will start in the second quarter of 2023 AD, and it is expected to be completed a year after the date of the contractor’s baptism.

It added that the trial production period for the project will be 3 months, while the commercial production of the project is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024.
