The prices of goods and services in the Kingdom witnessed a variation during the month of November, compared to the previous month of October, as the rise was in the share of 30 commodities, led by dates, while the prices of 30 commodities witnessed a decline at the end of the month, led by local zucchini.
According to the report of the General Authority for Statistics, issued today, Thursday, the prices of 15 food commodities increased by the end of November, led by dates, with an increase of nearly 12%, followed by Egyptian orange, by about 10.1%, while the clothes powder soap (Tide) ) the lowest increase among goods and services by about 1.59%.
The prices of 15 construction commodities increased by the end of November 2022, led by national black cement, with a monthly growth of 0.91%, followed by ordinary concrete (250 K), with an increase of 0.53%, while national 18 mm steel reinforcing steel was the least rising on the monthly level, with an increase. Its rate is 0.13%
On the other hand, the prices of 15 food commodities decreased by the end of last November compared to the previous month directly, led by the local zucchini, with a decrease of 14.81%, followed by the local cucumber, declining by 13.95%, while the Lebanese grapes recorded the lowest monthly rate of decline among food commodities, at a rate of 2.86%.
The prices of 15 construction commodities also declined on a monthly basis, led by coal with a decrease of 2.8%, followed by 4 mm national electric wires by 1.83%, then 2.5 mm national electric wires by 1.82%, while the prices of red sand recorded the lowest monthly decline among construction commodities by about 0.34%
It is worth noting that the consumer price index (inflation) in the Kingdom for the month of November witnessed an increase of 2.5% compared to its counterpart from last year. This increase is attributed to the increase in the prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels by 4.7%, and the increase in food and beverage prices by 3.5%.
