GASTAT: Wholesale prices in Saudi Arabia declined by 4% on a ‎monthly basis during November

The General Authority for Statistics revealed the wholesale price index for the month of November 2022, which recorded a monthly decline of 4%, which is lower than the previous month, October 2022, when it was 6.4%, other transportable by 4.2%; given its weight in the index.

The section on other transportable goods recorded an increase in wholesale prices by 4.2%; As a result of the increase in the prices of basic chemicals by 7.2% and the prices of petroleum products by 3.6%.

The section on agricultural and fishing products also recorded an increase of 8.6%; Affected by the increase in the prices of agricultural products by (10.5%), and the prices of live animals and animal products by (4.9%).

The food, beverage, tobacco and textile products section also recorded an increase of 7.6%; As a result of the increase in the prices of meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, oils and fats by 17.1%, and the prices of dairy products by 13.7%.

Likewise, the metal products, machinery and equipment section increased by 1.4%; As a result of the increase in the prices of machinery used for general purposes by 9.6% and the prices of transport equipment by 4.7%.
