stc Group, the digital enabler in the region, and Nokia announced their collaboration to adopt energy-saving solutions that help reduce carbon emissions and advance towards net zero emissions goals.
stc Group and Nokia signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate with the aim of reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices in four areas related to climate, society, digitization and the future of work. As part of this collaboration, the Group offers several solutions in partnership with Nokia, including the G5 Air-Scale Baseband module, add-on card with Nokia Reefshark chipset, EdenNet SON Energy Saving Management module, and G5 software architectures that help The baseband plug-in card deployment saves 805 megawatts of energy and reduces CO2 emissions by 570 tons per year.
