Saudi Defense Ministry, SDAIA ink MoU to develop digital ‎services and products

Ministry of Defense and the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence “SDAIA” signed a memorandum of understanding, aimed at cooperation between the two parties in the data and artificial intelligence sector, providing solutions and developing smart and safe digital services and products.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Ministry of Defense, His Excellency the Assistant Minister for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Bayari, and by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “SDAYA”, by His Excellency the Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi.‎

Under the agreement, SDAYA supports the Ministry of Defense with technical advisory services in the field of data management and artificial intelligence, in addition to providing advice on solutions and techniques for building data warehouse and in the field of data migration, and data sharing that contributes to raising the level of the ministry’s services.

The memorandum included the provision of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, training for employees of the Ministry of Defense in the field of data, and a discussion of ways to link some systems that help the ministry to provide electronic services. The memorandum of understanding also includes the participation of the Ministry of Defense in conferences, forums and seminars related to the activities that it is evaluated by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.‎
